PRESENCES

What comes, hesitates.
Figures with blurred features, suspended bodies.
Apparitions whose names have been forgotten
slip between the folds of the visible.

“…as he froze, a blurred form passed before him,
then vanished, silent as a whisper…”

A faceless gaze,
passes through furtively.
And asks for nothing.
Beings in the in-between,
sometimes dreamers, sometimes lost.
Seeing is not enough.
One needs waiting,
and sometimes dreaming.
An extinguished mirror is a memory.
In it, one searches for something
other than oneself.
